It has been five months since I last had rigorous sprint training, and now that I've stopped, I feel like a cow when I get in the pool. What are some good practices/workouts to get back into performance shape that I can do on my own? My events are mainly Free/Fly so I would prefer to focus myself on those. Any suggestions?
I've been swimming competitively year-round for 10 years, so I have good technique, but I've never swum self-coached (which is why I need your help.)
