i'm experiencing the same exact thing! i think it's because i developed a slightly different running form for the long distances. but now it just feels all weird! :/
my sprinting coach has been helping me get the correct form back again, so i suggest you just ask the coach for advice, because only he can see what you need to work on. sorry if that doesn't seem like much help. good luck though!
