How to get axle out of my transmission? 1998 Honda Accord?

Its the passenger side, i have everything apart, someone said there is a c clip i need to take off but i cant get at it because that clip is in the trans. I just can get this thing out of the trans. I tried with pry bar and it wont budge
any other suggestions?

It the c clip is whats holding it how do i get at that?
