Today I went to the Verizon store to upgrade my phone but found out if I dont buy the feature phones i must pay the additional price of a data plain. Is there anyway i can avoid having to pay the data plain without buying any of the feature phones. Thanks in advance.
No you cannot. Even if you buy the phone on eBay, etc., the data plan will automatically be added to your line when you activate it. If you will not be using the Internet, then you don't need a phone with those features
