She has some mental issues but is in no way insane. She is bipolar and has some problems where she used to abuse drugs.
She gave me a purse forever ago. Come to find out (I didn't know it) there was some pictures in the side zipper. I had never used the purse so I had no idea. I told her I would get my husband to bring them to her. She proceeded to mention a christmas present she gave me and wanted it back b/c she owes $50 on it so I told her that was fine i'll send it back.
The whole time she accused me of stealing those pictures and then proceeded to tell me as soon as I had my baby she was going to kick my ass.
Normally I wouldn't care BUT she is dangerous and I do feel like she will act on it. Once she sets her mind to something she's unstoppable and she does drive so it's possible. Every noise I heard last night I thought was her (my husband works nights so I was alone).
Just from her history & this threat will they grant me a restraining order?
How much do they cost, I live in Kentucky if it makes a difference (whatever it is will be worth it)?
Will I need a lawyer at the court date?
He and his dad have both tried to talk some sense into her but she's one of those people that they are no reasoning with. Lee works like 50 hours a week so it's hard for him to do anything but he agrees that if I could get one a restraining order would probably be a good idea. His dad does the best he can with her but if he turns his back for one minute she's attempting something. She's tried to kill him more than once and that's why I took her threat so seriously.
And I did add her number to call rejection so she can't call me again, forgot to mention that.
