how to get a mogul for $300

My xv6700's been acting up a bit lately, so I decided to go see about buying another one... got on ebay and the prices have gone up for them significantly.. right now they're going for $220ish on ebay (3 months ago you could get them for $170 easy)...

While I was on there, I decided to check the moguls.. they're selling for around $500-550...

But I noticed something.. there's a dude on there selling them for $99 with a 2 year contract... So I was thinking I might buy one frm him, sign up for the contract with sprint, then a week later call and cancel and pay my $200 termination fee..... overall cost of $300 + prorated monthly bill..

Any thoughts? I see no reason why it wouldn't work out great, and I'd have a new mogul for $200 less than ebay price, and $100 less than what most sprint customers are getting when they buy them at the store with a new 2 year contract.

sprint will let you cancel within two weeks with no etf. assuming he is a legitamate seller and not scamming you, if he's selling it at that much of a discount he'll make you sign a secondary contract and will charge your credit card if you cancel or change your service. it could end up costing you more than the non contract price for the phone.

just keep calling customer service with complaints and sprint will terminate your contract to make u go somewhere else wont they? has anybody made a tutorial for the mogul? and wouldnt it be better to get a mogul from verizon instead of sprint? i havent seen the mogul on the verizon website but on phonescoop when u look up the mogul it says its for sprint and verizon.

he's right...... plus when you get a phone with a 2 year contract and you cancel with them in the first few days, the take the phone back because they dont want you to keep such a good phone for a low price..... unless you paid retail price than they let you keep it
