How to get a medium out of my clothes?

I recently spilled Damar varnish on my clothes how, do I get it out quickly and most effectively?
 
I don't think you can remove varnish from your clothes. Though, try soaking it in cold water while you continue your research. This may help the stain from setting in while you get some better answers.
