My daughter has a Fugi racing bike that she now uses to commute. She has two chain rings in front and 8 sprockets on the rear cluster. What would be the easiest way to get a lower gear? Replace the small front chain ring with a smaller one, or replace the rear cluster with one that has a lower (larger sprocket) gear? I would guess the chain would have to be replaced or lengthened at the same time?
