My dog is a whiner, has been since the day we got her when she was 12 weeks old. It's a high pitched, very annoying whine, and I have no idea how to stop it. Some days it's not that bad, but today for example, my husband left the house and she was whining for over an hour nonstop after he left. I gave her a kong with peanut butter in it, a bully stick, a couple of ice cubes (all her favorite treats), and she didn't take any of those things - she just kept pacing around and whining.
Has anyone had any success in stopping this kind of behavior? I love her to pieces, but honestly, the whining grates on my last nerves.
