My 3 yr old would rather wear it than eat it most days...sigh. She really believes that peanut butter is a beauty mask and has no other nutritional value. I think she gets enough to eat but I am concerned about her manners- it is super embarrassing when we are out or having a holiday get together. My parents get angry and say "DON'T LET HER DO THAT!!" I try I really do but it seems that every second I am not fully focused on her she takes as an opportunity to stick her hands, her face and what ever else is around into her food. The other habit I am extremely fed up with is not eating what I give her then she begins hovering around me and being a vulture asking for what I am eating - EVEN THOUGH IT'S THE SAME EXACT THING SHE REFUSED TO EAT! I want to hide in a dark corner because the minute I have something to eat I am surrounded by "I want that, I want that!" I seriously just avoid eating when the kids are around. I know I need to get real and do some reprimanding but I am not sure what would work. I guess I am just henpecked and exhausted.
