How to Flash Verizon LG Dare with Telus software

Hi!

I would like to flash my LG Dare VX9700 with Telus software so it may work on the Telus network. It is originally programmed with Verizon wireless carrier.

Is it possible?

How can I do it?
 
Yes, it's possible. You'll need LGNPST and the Telus version of the Dare firmware. For legal reasons, I can't tell you where to find either of those items.

A Telus store might be able to help you out if you are unable to find these items on your own.
 
You can flash to Telus but Telus will not let you activate your VZW Dare on ther network.. They do not allow out side ESN numbers in there system just like VZW..even though its a dare its esn is only listed with VZW.. Best Regards

Flashing to Telus does not mean he wants to use the Telus network (though it can). In this case, he wants to use the Telus software for his phone on the Verizon network.

To the OP, keep in mind that you will not be able to use MMS (or any sort of data, for that matter) once you are on the Telus firmware. I would have told you this earlier, but I just found it out for myself yesterday.
