How to fix Gery Wifi

I have a iphone 3g 16 GB after installing IOS 4.0 wifi greyed....i was looking for a sureshot solution but after searching everywhere (Google etc) no precise solution which may fix my wifi...i can work with bluetooth but no wifi. the wifi was ok when i jailbreaked IOS4.0 but after few minutes its gone.......

Any confident solution to fix this...........please need help my bootloader version is 5.9
