I think you should see if there are any peers available for that torrent, if this isn't the matter then reinstall bittorent and you cold also try restarting your computer.
reinstall it if you are sure that the torrent you are trying to download is alive(whether it has seeds and leechers)...also scrap bittorrent and get utorrent...
ur torrent file seeders and leechers not available for your torrent file...
so you go to torrent sites and download your torrent same file in different sites and open it...
it will get more seeders and leechers with another sites...
