I have a 120gb hitachi portable external hard drive. It got a virus when i plugged it into a windows computer, so i decided to delete those when i plugged it back to my mac. However, i think i deleted the program (?) accidentally because the hard drive started to hang, and when i unplugged it and plugged it back, it wouldn't mount anymore. The drive is still getting detected via the USB port, but it does not show up on Finder or Disk Utility. I don't mind losing my files before, but i want to get the hard drive to start working again. Hope you can help me out. Thanks!
