How to fix a samsung memoir touch screen?

i pulled the scratched plastic layer off the front of my memoir cleaned it up and noticed a couple electrical flat wires that may not be connected and now its back together and doesn't work. Please explain to me the way this touch screen works and where these flat wires should connect thank you
