My left rib has always protruded out abnormally compared to my right one ever since I was a kid. My doctor always seemed to ignore it until I recently started taking physical therapy for severe back pain due to scoliosis.. She says it's a rotated rib and could possibly be and "mobilized" with months of physical therapy sessions, I am a full time college student and don't have the time or money for this. Just last week I noticed my rib has been protruding out more than usual and has now elevated.. I know physical therapists aren't exactly doctors, and my doctor doesn't know what to make of this problem.. Does any one have this problem or know of how to get a right diagnosis and a permanent fix for it?
