How to fix a leaking sunroof on 2007 Dodge Caliber?

My 2007 dodge caliber started leaking this week. I took it to a dodge dealership and they want to replace the whole sunroof. Well that's going to cost around $800-$1000 to do. They were no help in offering alternative advice. I need a good quick fix that helps the sunroof closed but I dont want it permanently closed because I still want to use it. I don't have warranty on this car and that part is a long story. Any suggestion on how to fix the leaking sunroof?

i would,nt pay them a nickle.just go to auto zone and get a tube of clear silicone sealer and run a small bead around the seal.
