how to fix a hot flash drive?

what happened to my flash drive? i just left it for seconds in our com lab. and it didn't work, i tested it to all the computers but it can't be read.
and it gets hot. what can i do?
is there something i can do to recover my files? like opening it up, soldering parts, whatever, i really need my files for my report!
 
USB flash drives are know to become defective more easier than hard drives. Sorry but there is nothing you can do to fix it. Flash drives are useful for transferring files but not for storing them.
