I have a Specialized pump. I was taking the pump head off the valve stem when the hose tore from it. Now the nozzle for the pump head has a piece of hose and the hose end itself is ragged. The bike shop is not yet sure what to do and I am tired of waiting. Any good ideas?

Keeping it family safe so just place repalce the "S" with a "C".

The punp is $65 and the reasons I am trying to DIY. I just found that a peplacement hose is $25 so the same applies.
