how to fish cold water bass?

Umm... Avoid lures. The colder water means not so active bass. They won't feel like chaseing stuff. I like to use corn. It's bright yellow and prominant, and the fish love it. You'd be amazed about how much most stuff in your fridge works better than the bait you buy.

Bass in cold water tend to be lethargic and not willing to expend alot of energy to chase down prey. They tend to stay in deep water during cold months so the best way to prompt a strike is to fish a bottom lure slowly and deep. Winter bass fishing tends to be slow but you tend to get bigger fish. Good luck.
