I want to find work in a newspaper in the US, anywhere, but I dont have a working visa or green card. I have a UK passport and money to rent apartment and live for a while. How can I get a job there? Whats the best way to do it? Do I have to sign up to recruitment agencies? Do I need the working visa first before I apply? How long does it take? I recently did a test and they said I had a good chance of getting a H12B visa but the immigration lawyers want a few thousand pounds to sort it all out. I'm looking to move asap. Its my dream to live there. Please advise.
