The car is in the UK.
I called 4 UK car dealerships and all told me that they cannot find the key code for an imported car. They told me I'd have to send in the cylinder etc and it would cost a fortune.are they just jerking me around? If so how can I phrase the question so they have to say YES we'll make you the key. PS I am in london. thanks
PS. I cant email the 1st person answering below because they dont accept email. I cant get a vin number only a chassis number which is in my logbook, is this ok? thanks.
oops I see the email address now... ignore... (except for the logbook info- is it the same as a vin number?)
