How to find somebody in a county jail ?

I've been trying to find my boyfriend but i don't know where to start. I heard it's a way to look on the internet but i don't know where to go or start. I even checked in my county and he wasn't there i been looking everywhere. And i don't know where he was when he got arrested IM GETTING STRESS OUT...... !!!!
