How to find out if my computer has the requirements for a PC game?

Im completly new to computer games and I wanted to a buy age of empires. How do i find how much "ram" and stuff is on the computer?

On Desktop, right click and then click properties. Go to settings Tab and click Advanced. Click the Adapter Tab.

This thing will tell you how much VGA you have. And each game has a requirement of some VGA memory. If you want to play Age Of Empires then you shouldnt really worry because it even runs on 32 MB VGA.

I have 1 GB VGA and I can play almost Evey game on my PC..
