I just bought a Kawasaki Street Bike from an impound, but they could not give me any info on it, they just took a guess at the engine size, all the decals and on it were painted over with a crappy red paint so i cant tell what iit is anymore, and i really need to know because I might need to buy an intake valve and a valve keeper/retainer (others call it a collet?) since it was loose when i bought it.
I didn't know until i turned it on and noticed that it didn't have too much power and thats when i saw that one cylinder was not working properly.
I've seen the ninja 500, and the GPZ 500 S, They are VERY similar, but when i look at the cylinder head pics, they look significantly different, for example the ninja has the camshaft gears and chain in the center, my bike has it on the right.
How can i tell all i have is the VIN and the Engine number.
