How to find family in World war 2?

I am looking for a grandfather that was In the war.(war world 2) He was in the U.S Navy. His title was STM2 Missile technician. I have check different sites but no luck. If any one knows of a site that will list the names and photos of people in the US navy in ww2 that would help. He was african american and his name was sam earl blaylock stm2 WW2. Any information will help. thanks!
