How to find a fancy restaurant?

I have fallen in love with a girl, her birthday is coming up and I'm planning on proposing to her. I want it to be like a surprise and take her out for dinner for her birthday and then just pop the question. I want to do it at a fancy and expensive restaurant and plan on spending 100-300 for the two of us. How do I find a restaurant like that in my area like what words and places should I search?

If that doesn't work, do an internet search on "fine dining".

Also, every high end hotel has a fine dining restaurant. So, check out the Ritz-Carlton Hotel or the Four Seasons Hotel or a Fairmont Hotel.
