How to figure out what wavelength is appropriate for imaging and if it is

possible to image with? This problem is on a sample exam my professor posted up for us to study for finals but I can't seem to find an answer for it anywhere or anything explaining it:

Violet light has a wavelength of about 400 nm. An X-ray can have a wavelength of approximately 1 nm. For each of the following below, state whether it could be imaged with the violet light and whether it can be imaged with the X-ray. State how you decided.
a)a bacterium, radius about 1 (micro)m

b)a protein molecule with a size of about 10 nm

c)a nucleus with radius about 10 fm
