...advisory. HELP!? what if i lose! i know i dont have enough confidence now, but what if i loose? and i'll waste my time doing nothing. :/
 
Theres no shame in loosing. Give it your best shot. If you lose this year try again next year. Ronald Reagan ran for President several times before winning and originally was considered a joke.
 
As ling as you lose with dignity and don't act like the Repug snivelers on here you will be fine.
 
I think it is exactly the opposite - if you win you really will be wasting your time.

Also, you don't appear the politician type. You think too much, you seem to be honest in your thinking, and you seem to be weighing different alternatives and wondering what the impacts are.

Real politicians take a position, stick with it, and learn to fake sincerity. Their positions are not formed with logic about the consequences but on what clique or person they want to get to support them. If the class president wants a football team, so do you!
