My 2 year old and 5 month son recently discovered his anus and I am not sure how to approach him on this. He is potty training and at times when he doesn't have a diaper he touches his anus. I understand he is exploring his body and it's natural, but I have had a bad history with my father touching me and every time I see my son touching himself I can't help but tell him to never touch himself there or have anyone touch it. I want to explain to him that it's part of his body but my scars run deep and well I don't know how to approach this situation at all. Any advice?
