how to encourage my puppy to poo on his 'garden area' and not all over the deck and

Lead him there by putting a leash on him. I trained my dog to do his poo at the back of the yard by going outside with him on a leash.
 
the golf putting green? is there any special liquid i can put over the decking to prevent him going toilet there or something to attract him to his area. He wees there but wont poo. Where he wees its small pebbles but also there is a section further on where i have moved the pebbles so its just sandy/mud but he just goes all over the decking instead
