How to embed windows media player to desktop?

I am wanting to know if there is a way to embed the windows media player on my desktop when its open, WITHOUT it being down at the bottom on my taskbar when Its playing music.

I have several different screens open, and windows media player being down there just makes another option.

Any help is appreciated!
 
Go to tools/options, then scroll through general to find minimize to taskbar. This will create play/pause icons below. If that doesn't work, there are apps you can retrieve online to add WMP to your taskbar such as if you use the Vista sidebar.
