HOW TO DRIVE ON BEACH SAND WITH AUTOMATIC 2009 TOYOTA PRADO?

when ever ive driven my jeep on the beaches in the thick sand in mexico or in the hasayampa river here in arizona we just put it in 4 low not 4 high. 4 low is a very low gear meant to put more torque to the wheels i guess. its to climb out of sticky situations. 4 high is for higher speeds like if you were to cruise through a muddy feild doing 15mph or you can even run 4 high at a drag strip to help with your launch lol.

The highes- low ranger gear is the best when in sand, because you don't want you tires spinning when you start to take off from a dead stop are your tires will go down into the sand quick, that's why you don't want to put it in the lowest gear either or your tires will spin to much ,which would cause you to go down and may cause you to spin a axle.If you used the high range then it would put all the torque to your back tires and wouldn't have any use of your front tires.
