I'm not sure if anybody put up a thread regarding Youtube videos.

If you want to download a Youtube video to your computer so that you can watch it without having to an Internet connection, or want to put it on your phone, you can do what I did:

1) Go to YOUTUBEX.com

2) Get the link of the video from YOUTUBE and paste the link on YOUTUBEX.com

3) When you download the file, it will be a FLV file. If you want to watch it, download FLV PLAYER off Downloads.com, it's free.

5) If you want to convert the FLV file, you can download Dr. Divx for free, just Google it. Dr. Divx will let you convert the FLV file to a DIVX format and you can easily get DIVX MOBILE for your Nokia phone whatever edition, and watch the videos on your phone!!

Simple and clear. The only thing I hate about Divx Mobile is that it won't play any other file format. I wish there's something out there that will play WMV, MPGE, AVI, DIVX, RM and everything in one video player.

oh well.

If you just want to download video from youtube, firefox has an addon called "videodownloader" that will automatically find the link to download flv directly.

If you just want to watch youtube video on phones, tinytube.net will convert flv to mp4 (which you can open with built-in realplayer). All you need to do is to search for the video on that site and download to your phone.

My only problem with streaming audio or video is that Realplayer says something about there is a limit to bandwith?

Is this a problem with the browser? Would Opera Mini solve this or is it a Realplayer issue.

I want to do the following:

1) Stream audio (but realplayer won't let me, why?)

2) Download or play large files. Why does it tell me it's too large? What if I have the space for it...is this a browser issue?

Thanks guys

Even Tinytube has large files that won't let me stream or view.

I found this guide, and it could solve alot of our problems, as it just did to mine:
___

Some Nokia Handsets will require the maximum bandwidth of Real Player to be increased. To do this select 'Applications'..Real Player.'Network'. Select 'Options' again and then 'Advanced Settings'. Finally, select 'GPRS Bandwidth' and manually change the settings to '37
_______

I wonder if I put it higher, would anything happen?

Anybody play with EGPRS and UMTS settings as well?

Ok, got it working now....guess the site was down last night.'
This is great...now it works just like google video now.

All you do is choose a file size and download it, or stream it..
