how to do Roger Troy Wilson's "Let's Do Lunch" correctly (weightloss)?

how do you do this lifestyle correctly?
i know that you should eat fruits to replace all the other meals BUT lunch. for lunch you eat a lot of protiens and no afternoon snacks, for dinner you eat fruits and maybe some soup or salad...

is that the right way to do it? thats my understanding of the book...
-no counting of cals, carbs or fats...
-eat all you want until you are satisfied
- no excersicing invovled (altough i do excercise anyyway)

but how does this lead to weight loss..
