How to Display Contact Names in Text Messaging- HTC Tilt 2?

hi, i just got my HTC Tilt 2 today. on the list of Text Messaging Conversations, only one of my contacts is displaying the person's name. The rest are showing their numbers. How do i get it to display the people's names?
