How to delete website history?

there's a site i don't want the computer to have. i don't want it in the history or any where on the computer

i clicked favorites and then history and hit delete
i opened cookies and deleted them and did the same for pre-fetch
then i emptied the recycle bin

what else i have to do to make all traces of the site vanish without using any software just deleting?
