One of my friends, although we don't know each other in person (I'm in Texas, she's in Florida) has a tendency of complaining. Basically, whenever I don't want to do something she wants, or agree, she will say 'You kill my soul.' which gets quite annoying at times. As well, one time, she had went on about she lost her phone, her mom got mad, and that she called everything in her room 'shit' and made her cry, but that happens to me very often, yet I don't say a thing. I know, we don't know each other in real life, but I feel I need to figure out what to do and not hurt her feelings.
Basically, it's this: I'm the joker who is typically a cheerful annoyance, and she's the straight out blunt one. (Or at least, what another friend had said when I told her about it.)
I understand the fact that of course, we all get upset, but I can't help but to feel annoyed since she tells me she doesn't get yelled at a lot, when in fact, I get it daily. It makes me feel like a terrible friend for thinking that, yet I can't help it.
Any ideas?
I forgot to add, she's a naturally a downer.
