I am currently using Kompozer to build a website. I am a beginner with html, but have a basic understanding of how it works.
I would like to make a side table and top banner for the site.
At the moment the only way to do it with Kompozer is to create one and copy and paste it on to every page, which would be fine, unless I decide to edit it, in which case I would have to then copy and paste onto every page again.
I would like to know if there is a way to make it once, then have each page read from the same source, so that if I ever edit that one, then it will show on all pages.
I have heard a little about Server Side Include and have made an attempt at it, but it didn't work. So a step by step answer would be great, preferably keeping in mind that I am using Kompozer.
