How to create article manager in PHP / MySQL?

I've written a bunch of articles and I'd like to add them to my website but I don't know how. It's not a community website and the articles are not user submitted; this is just for me on the back end.

I was told to use PHP and MySQL - my server has cPanel with Fantastico so everything I need is already installed.

But what I want to know is what I need to do and how do I get started?

Any info would be greatly appreciated, thank you!
