This is our second year burning wood at our house. Last year we stacked wood in our garage. We bought a new car we would like to keep in there this winter and also the wood made the garage kind of moldy, so we stacked it outside between trees, from tree to tree about 6 feet tall. We have probably 8 separate piles. How should I cover it so that it is good, burnable wood this winter. My neighbor down a few houses just seems to put a tarp over the top and drapes it over about a foot, I am not sure how that is working for him. Does just the top have to be covered or some or all of the sides as well? Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
