how to correct people on their mistakes on the court?

just smile and tell the ref if he didn't see it, and go on playing as if nothing happened,mistakes are corrected by the coach, not you

tell them what their mistakes are. even better show them if the game is recorded or u can draw on a board. then ask them what should they been doing or just tell them what they should do

That is why each team has Coaches and Assistant Coaches. If you could play better than the players on the court, you would be out there, instead of being a season ticketholder.

Tell them kindly, point out where they should have cutted or when the pick should have been set, etc. A good leader will make sure no one is insulted, the other player might take it personally that you shouted at them. If you watch an NBA game, you'll see the point guard usually talking to his teammates and pointing out what to have done.
