How to connect two 4 ohm speakers to a 4 ohm radio?

I've got the original 1964 AM Radio in my Falcon, and I want to connect my pair of 4 ohm speakers without damaging anything. Is there any way possible to do this?

The wattage for the radio is 100, and the max wattage for each speaker is 100, so they're perfectly compatible. But I know that if I wire the speakers in series they'll be 8 ohms total, and in parallel they'll be 2 ohms. Pretty sure I need to wire in series, but are there any other risks?
