how to connect pc to tv?

Open up your Display Properties from the Control Panel (or by right-clicking the desktop) and play around with the secondary monitor settings. I think you need to "Extend my desktop to this monitor" or either select the secondary monitor as the main display.
 
You need to convert the computer signal to NTSC - probably need a video receiver in the computer or something that will convert the TV into operating as a computer monitor.

i have connected my pc to my tv with vga cable. when i start up my computor i have a picture on my tv. once windows has started up i lose my signal alltogether
can anyone help
