How to connect my PSP online globally?

I know how to connect my PSP to the internet but I would like to know if it is at all possible to connect my PSP online to play games with people around the world competitively and if there is a specific piece of equipment I must buy to do this.
 
u have to have wifi first of all, then if its not connected , just go to network connection at the last icon on the far left end of the icons.clik on it then do infrastructure, find your access point, then u can use it,\

if its protected, just put in your number code/letter code and do the same thing as above.
u can also steal other ppls connections that are unprotected >:)
 
sell your psp and all your games and then buy a xbox 360 arcade and halo 3 its better than gta vice city and then buy gta 4 for xbox 360 trust me i did the same thing
