How to connect my Bluetooth Headset with my Computer?

I have been tirelessly searching for a way to connect my new bluetooth headset with my computer. However, all of the results I've found specify a ''Bluetooth" option in the control panel; I do not have this option. So, is there any way for me to connect the two, or am I out of luck? Thanks in advance.
 
If you have no Bluetooth icon in Control Panel then you don't have Bluetooth in your computer (as far as Windows is concerned). Even if you do have Bluetooth and install the Bluetooth drivers, it will most likely use the default Windows Bluetooth stack which doesn't support headsets.
