I have a M17x Alienware Laptop, and I am looking to hook it up to my Samsung Smart TV via HDMI cable, but everytime I press the "detect" button under the display settings, nothing shows up. This happens when I use the PC cord (not sure what its called, but it hooks into the "PC" outlet in the TV) as well. I recently had to reinstall windows, so I had to get all my drivers and stuff back, and I am wondering if there are any extra drivers I might be missing that would make this connection not work. If there isn't... what am I doing wrong?! Thanks!
