How To Connect A MIDI keyboard to Pro Tools 8?

okay so here's my deal. im running on pro tools 8 with an Mbox mini interface. i just got into beat making and bought a Akai MPK mini MIDI keyboard/drumpad. the thing with this is. it only cam with one USB cord....idk if thats an issue right there....anyway i cant for the life of me find out how to connect it with my protools system....if it cant be dont please say so. if there is a step by step process please give me each step very detailed lol. and if it wont work with protools and i need another keyboard please give me a list of keyboards that do work with protools.....thank you SOOOOO much
