So we were walking to our lockers at school on Friday...I don't recall why but we were talking about braces and teeth and what not. One of my friends that was with us said "I'm getting braces soon!" And another friend said "You don't need them you have good teeth." I said "No, I think you need them, your teeth aren't good."
- Honestly, do you think what I said was so wrong? I didn't think it was mean considering she will get them fixed once she gets braces.
Anyway, she replied to that "Well, at least I'm not ugly!" I wanted to say something back but I didn't. So I left them. I thought that was entirely unnecessary and mean. It's not that I took it to heart because she's really not as pretty as me (not to be vain or whatever) but I don't know why a good friend would say that.
Anyway they left and the third friend walking with us approached me. She asked what's wrong and I told her what happened. (As if she didn't hear.) So she automatically took my other friend's side and said "You shouldn't have said that, that was mean, ect." And she had a right to say that, blah, blah, blah. I completely disagreed, told her my argument and I walked away. I haven't talken to that friend or the one who called me ugly since.
I don't know If i want to make up with the one who called me ugly yet, but the other one is like one of my best friends and things might be awkward if we don't plus I don't want to ruin our friendship. What do you think I should do? I know this is kind of immature but whatever.. Thanks!
