my s50 front breaks are not wore down but they make noise everytime the brake is applied. I read in this forum that is common to the s50 and that cleaning the pads and rotors can fix the problem. But I do not know how and what to use

just go to a local store and get some brake cleaner...
you can take the caliper apart and take off the pads and squirt in some brake cleaner and wipe down the caliper and clean it right up... but only use brake cleaner and i suggest you use rubber gloves...

any brake cleaner will do..

Ah, squeaky brakes is known as the mating call of the VS800- the stock brake pads and shims are poor, so they vibrate and squeal. Cleaning will have very little, and very temporary, effect. Get some spray on brake cleaner, and spray everything down. Then take the caliper off, and put a SMALL drop of “high-temp waterproof brake grease” (available at the auto parts store for $1) on each the pins that the pads slide on. Also get a SBS Brake Pad Shim Set (part number #9500, about $6), which are composite and have an adhesive back so they will not vibrate. Peel and stick to the back of the brake pads, and between the two you will eliminate most of the brake noise. Taking a file and slightly chamfering the leading and trailing edges of the brake pads often helps also. When your brakes wear out get some better quality aftermarket pads, from EBC or SBS- even most dealers don’t put OEM pads back on.

are EBC any good?
i bought some pads, spur of the moment and put them on. my original pads had about 2mm left on them... they were done..

i've only ridden about 50 km with them, so they aren't seated yet, but it's still an improvement over the oem :)

if your front pads still have lots of life left you might wanna check out BG products they have an anit-squeal kit. has brake clean, lube and treatment for the pads them selves. i have used them on all my cars and my bikes (past and present) none of them make noise anymore.
